The new December 2011 WALLPAPER MAGAZINE is out. Without revealing too many details, one of the featured articles is titled “HAND IN HAND: Our reflections on the complementary appeal of the his and hers wristwatch.” Granted, these are watches that probably you nor I could ever buy (first watch on the list is ‘Patrimony Contemporaine’ in white gold on an alligator strap: £18,510 by Vacheron Constantin). RADO, Ralph Lauren, Cartier, Panerai, Rolex, Bell & Ross – quite lovely names but what catches attention is the actual imagery itself by photographer Jessica Diamond. The stage setting is comprised of transparent triangular and cylindrical prisms doused in vibrant hues of spectral colors. With the lens unfocused (or without your spectacles), the time pieces fade into the lovely color compositions.
