The stress of an early morning rush to slip last minute into Cimen and Derya’s ISSEVER BAHRI show, slowly dissipates with the taste of coffee from the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week lounge bar. Art Director Suvi Haering and I bump into model and stylist Ella Plevin and the consensus is to transition into prosecco. We put our still-grogy heads together to discuss the particulars of the show. While we’re not convinced at all by the skirts and dresses upturned at the ends for a “cute” look, the forte of ISSEVER BAHRI is our point of interest. The knitwear that the duo have gained international fame for, glitter like fish scales on the catwalk. And I’d personally say bravo to the cut of the brown suit, though I’d like to ask: does it come in heather-gray?
