This year, Wrangelstrasse 5 took our lenses to backstage for PerretSchaad‘s MBFW A/W 2012 show. Over three hours full of stress and nervousness, a model running late, the designers feeling as if they’ve forgotten something important, rehearsals, makeups, etc. It’s a whole different world than the surge of champagne-drinking fashionistas anticipating in the lounge. This year, aside from their distinct finesse of fabrics, cuts, and folds, Tutia and Johanna gives us a dreamlike description of their inspiration: The palette reveals an opulent life within the discretion of night. Hard black and graphite portray the bold moment of the calm dark, while night greens evoke the vicinity of sleepy nature. Ice white and alabaster greys draw a beautiful coldness, but cypress tones whisper promises for spring. With that said, we captured some of the moments before the presentation thanks to Johanna and Tutia.
