Behold the epic failures of German mid 20th century architecture. The dreams of a prosperous community now relegated to the near-dead, the trashed out, the severely poor, and in general extremely-bitter residents of southern Neukölln. The city proposes that in five years time, Gropiusstadt will be resurrected as a happy-go middle class community…bonne chance. The verdict: a horrendous masterplan attempt that should be allowed to burn and crumble all the way into abandoned decay. Imagine how beautiful THAT could be for my camera.
